Tom Wroot

 

Its with deep sadness we share the passing of Tom Wroot.

 

Tom was a stalwart of Field Marshall Tractors and began his journey with Robert H Crawford & Son as a young man. He worked as part of our family business alongside three generations Robert H, Robert E and Robert J Crawford for over 70 years and until last year was on our stand at Newark Vintage Tractor Show and Carrington Rally.

His love for the Field Marshall Tractor & Crawler Tractor was infectious and his knowledge irreplaceable. He was a true gentleman and extremely popular among all of those that met him. He will be greatly missed.

Last year at Carrington Rally he celebrated his 90th birthday with us on the stand.

 

His funeral will take place Wednesday 7th May, 11am at Wyberton Church followed by refreshments at The Mill pub on Spilsby Rd in Boston. Anyone who knew Tom and would like to pay their respects are very welcome
